Renewed Hope: Omani Kidney Patient Finds Improvement After Four Years on Dialysis

We are honored to share the journey of a determined patient from Oman who came to our hospital seeking solutions for his kidney failure.

His health challenges began back in 2016 when his creatinine level reached 250 μmol/L, indicating significant kidney dysfunction. By September 2021, his condition had progressed severely, with creatinine soaring to 900 μmol/L, necessitating the immediate start of dialysis. For four years, he relied on regular dialysis treatments while actively searching worldwide for therapies that could improve his kidney function and quality of life.

After extensive research and communication – including thoughtful discussions with a trusted friend in China to address his initial concerns – he chose our hospital for specialized treatment. Placing his hope in our expertise, he traveled to China seeking a new approach.

Following a dedicated three-week course of treatment at our facility, his condition showed promising improvement. While ongoing management is essential, the positive changes in his kidney health brought him significant relief and renewed optimism.

Deeply grateful for the care he received from our medical team, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation by presenting them with a special gift: a silk banner (a traditional Chinese "Jin Qi"). Embroidered on it are the words:

"Thank you very much for your kind help and care. I will never forget it."

This gesture stands as a powerful testament to the trust built and the meaningful impact our team strives to make. We are inspired by his resilience and deeply moved by his gratitude. We remain committed to supporting him on his continued health journey.
